Today I fixed a dead iPhone SE. The phone won’t get charged no matter what I do. Hard resetting doesn’t work either. I checked the motherboard and found it had a short circuit to ground. I suspect the charging IC is damaged and replaced it, but the short circuit was still there. After measuring, I found it’s the VCC MAIN is short to ground. I connected the vcc main to DC power supply on 1.5V, then use cold spray to find the damaged parts. Finally I found the capacitor damaged and removed it. Now the phone is working fine.
